Trefriw village lies in the beautiful Conwy valley and nestles at the foot of thickly wooded valleys which form the backdrop to the village and ascend to give spectacular views of the surrounding countryside and mountain ranges. Numerous streams tumble down the hillsides, fed from the three mountain lakes (less than 3 miles) which are situated in the valleys just above the village, which is why Trefriw is sometimes known as the "Gateway to the Lakes".
Extracts from the 2005 Wales Tourist Board Visit
"The 4 star quality grade is well deserved."
"There are a host of useful toiletries in all rooms."
"There is spotless housekeeping throughout this property."
