Dating back to the 13th century, the property was at one point used as a mill and the old mill wheel still sits on the side of the house next to the bubbling millstream.

The house exudes character with beams, dressed stone walls, mullion windows and a wonderful inglenook fireplace in the sitting room.

Outside is a field and watermeadow leading to River Llugwy.

Little wonder that the renowned artist David Cox painted the house many times.
