Bryn Llewelyn Guest House
Conveniently located in centre of Betws-y-coed
Bryn Llewelyn Guest House is a traditional Victorian stone house built circa 1890 and set in the beautiful village of Betws-y-Coed. Betws-y-Coed is the most central location for exploring the Snowdonia National Park and North Wales. Within an hour by car you can be at the coast at Llandudno, visit Portmeirion, the historic castles at Conwy and Caernarfon, the wonderful gardens at Bodnant, have a train ride on one of the many steam railways in the area, or be high up a mountain enjoying the stunning views. More locally, the famous Swallow Falls is nearby and the delights of the Snowdonia National Park are all around.

At Bryn Llewelyn Guest House, our aim is to offer a friendly welcome. We have all combinations of rooms with double rooms, family rooms, a single room, twins plus a triple room. We also have a room with a four poster bed! Our rooms are all either en suite or have private facilities, and all rooms have a colour TV, tea/coffee making facilities and clock radio alarm. WiFi connection in all rooms (bring your own laptop).

Our tariff includes breakfast to help give you the best start to the day. For breakfast, we offer cereal and fruit, followed by a traditional cooked breakfast sourced locally our free-range eggs come from a smallholding only four miles away and the sausages are from an award-winning local butcher. A vegetarian breakfast is also available together with a gluten free option for other special diets, ask us, we can probably cater for you too.

We are proud that we have been awarded a Green Dragon environmental standard but living in such a beautiful part of the world, we feel an obligation to try and keep it that way. So what does this mean in practical terms? It can mean very simple things like turning off a light when you leave a room and not leaving electrical appliances on standby. We source as much food locally as we can. We recycle as much of our waste as we can including glass, cans, paper, plastic, cardboard and compostable materials. We use a lot of low energy light bulbs as they take a fraction of the electricity and also halogen light bulbs. These are some of the simple and effective measures we take to help the environment. If you would like to know more, please ask us.

We are close to the centre of the village of Betws-y-Coed and for dining in the evening there are lots of good pubs and restaurants within walking distance. We are happy to offer recommendations and we have a sample menu folder if you wish to browse before strolling out in the evening.
We have a private car park which is large enough for all our guests. We also offer bike storage in the garage, or canoes or anything else (within reason!).

If you prefer the informality of self-catering, we have a cottage in Trefriw which is also available.
We hope that you will choose to stay with us and we can promise a warm welcome to Wales.
