Breathtaking scenery surrounds the property as it resides in its own expertly maintained landscaped grounds. Dating back to 1910, when it was originally used as a private residence. Plas Meirion retains much of its elegant Edwardian heritage. The original architectural features have been lovingly maintained and are now integral to the modern design of the apartments. Full of character and history the building has been a landmark in the area and very much part of village life for almost a century.

With its enviable position providing easy access to the A55 expressway, Chester, Liverpool and
Manchester are a short drive away. The popular coastal resort of Llandudno lies just 17 miles to the
North, offering stunning coastal vistas, boutique shopping experiences, theatre nightlife and a
famous literary history.

Closer to home is the beautiful tourist town of Betws-y-Coed and the historical market town of
Llanrwst. Both offer an excellent range of facilities and attractions, less than 10 minutes away from
Trefriw.

Trefriw itself is steeped in history. It is believed that Roman soldiers originally discovered a well spa in the village. The Georgians later developed the site and with enterprising spirit, the Victorians sold the water commercially. Today, if you don’t fancy taking the water, they also do lovely tea and cakes.
