Bridge View' formerly Magistrate's Court was split in half in 2008 to make into one guest house. and a small Bed and Breakfast less then five minutes level walking distance from the centre of the village of Betws-y-Coed, in a peaceful river location.
Situated in the heart of the Snowdonia National Park, North Wales.
You can have breakfast in what used to be the Magistrate's Court, sleep in the Judges Chambers, Jury Room or the Magistrate's Room which is on the ground floor. If you have been naughty and do not eat your breakfast you will have to go next door to the cells in the former Police Station!

A distinctive cosy, galleried dining room is where you will enjoy a hearty Welsh breakfast in what used to be the Courtroom. All meals are prepared from the freshest ingredients and you can enjoy them in our non-smoking environment. Vegetarian diets can be catered for

The individually styled guest bedrooms are:
Magistrates Room with its King Size Brass Double Bed (5' wide). and a Single Bed making it a twin room or family of three or just a double, Very large bright room on the ground floor.Views over the River Conwy and fields beyond.

We have just put in a larger T.V for your comfort a 20'' 3D surround sound TV with video recorder and a few tapes !
All of which are individually decorated and furnished. All rooms have outstanding views and all have hairdryers, tea & coffee making facilities plus other personal touches to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.

From the garden there are views of open fields and Sappers Bridge that was built in the 1930s and spans the River Conwy. To the right a little way up the river is the Waterloo Bridge, this is an early cast iron bridge and was only the seventh such bridge to be built.

Access Statement
We aim to ensure that all our guests have a comfortable stay at Bridge View. we deal with all requests efficiently and everyone is made to feel welcome at all times.
There is car parking space directly outside the front door. This is level with slate surface.
Bridge View is situated 800 yards from Betws-y-Coed railway station. We will collect guests by car from the station by prior arrangement.
There is good lighting to the car park and entrance area this remains on during the hours of darkness.
The road is a quiet road, which is not a thoroughfare, it serves a limited number of properties.
Physical assistance is given where needed. We will carry cases and baggage to rooms and to the car.
There are two steps to the entrance. We offer assistance to any guests requiring help with these.
The entrance doors are 800mm wide, so easily accessible.
The entrance area has a laminated floor. The rest of the house has a low pile carpet.
There is good colour contrast to floor, walls and doorways.
There is a settee for guests to use in the entrance area.
All rooms have good lighting and table lamps are at both sides of all beds.
There is a ground floor bedroom. This is accessed by three steps. We offer assistance with this as required.
There is a handrail to the first floor bedrooms.
All rooms have toilets and showers en-suite.
One first floor bedrooms has a bath with shower above.
If guests are hearing impaired, we are happy to communicate with them on paper.
Mobile phone networks are available. Telephone numbers for local taxi service, doctor and dentist are in a folder in every guest room as well as information about places to eat locally. We will make phone calls on behalf of guests if needed.
We have tried to be as accurate as possible and include as much detail as we can in this statement. We are always willing to give additional information by phone or e-mail.

We respectfully remind guests that a reservation constitutes a contract between themselves and Bridge View. In the event of cancellations, alterations or reduction of numbers by the client, the guesthouse will undertake to mitigate its losses and to re-let the room at similar rates. The guest will be responsible for the loss incurred by the guesthouse in the event that rooms remain unoccupied, or are at a lower rate than the date the room was booked. The cancellation charges imposed by the guesthouse will therefore reflect the actual loss. Any postponement of confirmed bookings will be treated as cancellation. We reserve the right to amend our tariff without notice
