The Park Hill / Gwesty Bryn Parc
Our Home is Your Castle
The Park Hill/Gwesty Bryn Parc is located in a fine Victorian building traditionally built of local stone and slate in the 1860's. Nevertheless, the house's nine double/twin rooms are equipped with all modern facilities, recently refurbished and are all en-suite. The place is set in an acre of lush gardens and overlooking the beautiful village of Betws-y-Coed, the Llugwy and Conwy Valleys and the surrounding mountains of Snowdonia. Incorporated in Park Hill is an INDOOR HEATED SWIMMING POOL 30ft x 12ft x 4ft 6inches deep, with a Jacuzzi Type Spa and a Sauna. These are housed in a 50ft pine log cabin for the exclusive enjoyment and relaxation of our resident guests. Pool and Sauna are available 24 hours a day.

Park Hill also benefits from a secluded free car park, not to be seen from any public road. Walkers, climbers, mountain bikers and bikers are welcome and we provide a free shuttle service to the nearest railway station.

A Romantic Story
Your hosts, the resident proprietors, Jaap and Ghislaine Buis, visited Park Hill for the first time during their honeymoon in 1991. They fell instantly in love with it, with the views and location, they felt at home immediately. After visiting the hotel many times, they heard it was for sale. That first time in 1991 they promised each other: as soon as Park Hill is on the market, well buy it. Jaap and Ghislaine kept that promise and bought Park Hill.

Family Run Country House
Jaap and Ghislaine hope you arrive as guests and leave as friends. Their greatest aim is to make your stay as enjoyable as possible without formality and pomp. They want you to feel the same hospitality and friendliness they experienced as guests themselves. Therefore, all aspects of Park Hill are under the constant supervision of the resident owners.

Park Hill is renowned for excellent service and its teddy bear collection. Almost 200 teddy bears welcome you and Jenny, the largest of the bears, seated in her own chair in one of the lounges is eager to say hello to the guests.
Another collection is that of the 35,000+ recordings of mainly classical music. Guests are invited to make a personal selection to which they can listen to in the guests lounge.
